It's that time of the year again - time for our fourth annual Child Safety Hackathon! Over the past three years, engineers from across the industry have worked on projects involving machine learning, computer vision, and workflows for finding missing children. And this year it is going to be even bigger!
The Child Safety Hackathon 2019 kicks off on August 1 and you're invited to take part and do your part to find technology solutions for keeping kids safe. Facebook HQ is our meeting spot for two days of hacking and we'll have engineers from child safety NGOs like the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and Thorn: Digital Defenders of Children participating. They will share insights and data ahead of the hack to help fuel the projects.
AND we’ll all come together for a bit of fun the evening of August 2nd for the Prototype Forum and a Happy Hour. Space is limited so don’t delay.
All IP developed will be donated for use by NGOs dedicated to child online safety. RSVP does not guarantee participation. You will receive a confirmation within the next two weeks.
